A good dating app has your interest at heart. It wants you to succeed. It wants you to get what you want while making sure it’s good for you for the long term. It wants to minimize hurt feelings from mismatches.
Idea:
Approach as a relationship psychiatrist or counselor would.
- First, an evaluation of mental health
- Second, an evaluation of the dating health and IQ
- Third, an understanding of their dating history, such as quantity, duration, quality, reason for break up, how long have been single, age / time of their life in terms of what they might want in a relationship and in terms of what they want to focus on right now (career? marriage? kids?)
- A deep understanding of what the person wants, not just short term, long term.. Perhaps with suggestions so it’s a bit more guided. e.g. choose from templates of type of relationships, or multiple choices of different aspects of the relationship one wants.

What is a typical day / date like with your boyfriend / husband / casual guy?
What activities would you do together?
Matching ideas:
User can dial up or down (maybe 0 to 5) the importance of each relationship aspect or character traits, as well as overall match % (more exact match or more lineant)
