Grateful, Future living

I’m grateful for my health, wealth, and friendships.

I’m very very lucky. Thank you God!!

Compared to Cyndi and Bunny, my health is amazing!!! Thank you, body and mind!

Cyndi came over to Vancouver last week, and we spent a lot of time together!

She thinks I’m a source of light in her life. I’m glad. She says that I give her purpose (by hiring her). That’s wonderful!

I’m also a lubricant to her and Ty right now. I didn’t realize how bad it is.

I’m selfish. I want them to be together because then we can all hang out together and have lots of fun!

I want them to be happy. They deserve it!

I think because Cyn is suffering in many ways (eye pain etc), and I’m doing well, I have to space for jealousy. Even though I’m the jealous type.

Cyn said that Ty has been so mean to her the past two years. Gosh it is impossible to imagine. But it makes me less attracted to him and more grateful of Bunny.

Ideal living situation:

I’m SO grateful of my place. It’s beautiful, the BC Place view is the most amazing. It’s just the right size. It’s a perfect location. I love my place so much!

Lately though, I’ve been having the urge to own land, or a house. I think I want to grow stuff. Microgreens. I think I want more space.

I want to visualize and manifest this place.

I want to build or reno a house. I want to have a beautiful mountain water view. I want to have a garden.

A house is great. A penthouse with a rooftop garden is probably even more amazing!

On the other hand a house with land seems to be more limitless!

A beautiful cabin with skylight. Or a modern house with a swing!

SODA Plan for Biz

Systemize, Optimize, Delegate, Automate.

The sequence is probably:

Systemize by creating an sop/documentation, Automate as much as possible, Delegate anything that can’t be automated, Optimize over time. Rinse and repeat as the task or project grows/scales.

In order for us to grow and for me to have more free time, I need to SODA anything and everything.

SODA everything that is recurring:

  1. Product development (once or twice a year?)
    1. Idea for a design collection
    2. Research demand and competition
    3. Prototype designs and colours with Fred
    4. Set timeline (when product will arrive) and plan out launch
  2. Engraved product development (once a month + as needed based on news?)
    1. Get together once a month to discuss what’s trending right now
    2. Create design -> Vectorize -> Test -> Engrave on rings for photoshoot
    3. Word based designs can be done right away
  3. Inventory management
    1. Regularly check inventory and demand
    2. place orders as needed
    3. Ideally a US warehouse to be more agile.
  4. Engraving (SOP already in place. Can optimize.)
    1. Order processing
  5. Product launch
    1. listing the products on all channels
    2. All text and images ready
    3. Build announcement page/emails
    4. Launch plan and timeline
    5. Build landing page
  6. Marketing
    1. Email marketing – collection launch based, but also holiday, seasonal promos.
    2. Paid ads
    3. Social Media – posting, building a relationship with influencers, be the first to like/comment on other accounts’ posts
    4. Funnels?
    5. Contests/Giveaways
    6. Broadcast to influencers – interested can apply
    7. Contact potential partners – brands who sell complementing products or services to same target audiences. e.g. climbing gyms or gear
    8. Contact potential communities – e.g. climbing groups
  7. Content generation for marketing and launch and listings on all channels
    1. Identify all the content needed, their dimensions, etc
    2. Videos
    3. Photos
    4. Rendered images
    5. Articles (blog, PR, new product announcement)
  8. SEO
    1. Optimized listings on all channels
      1. A+ content on Amazon
      2. Videos for Amazon and Etsy
    2. Ranking optimization for all channels
      1. Amazon – dominate search result with more listings
      2. Google – how to rank higher with 5-star reviews showing
    3. Push out content to all channels (pinterest, FB/IG, Tiktok, blog, parter sites, ads)
    4. Do what HavestRanking does
  9. Sales
    1. Frequent update of Etsy listings
    2. Amazon PPC
    3. Store outreach (on and off line stores)
    4. Wholesale
    5. Contact relevant industries who may be interested in the collection (e.g. water sports, hiking & climbing community)
  10. Customer service – this is currently the only part that has been SODA’d

There are tasks that don’t require SODA but will improve our traffic, conversion rate, sales frequency, AOV, optics.

Build a board that allows us to brainstorm all the activities that improve these areas, and implement them.

Some are:

  1. Optimize our website, provide more silicone ring info for first time visitors
  2. Improve product description
  3. Add about page
  4. Hot jar / track our website activities so we can keep improving our website

How to begin? What’s the minimum dose for maximum result?

In the coming week? In the coming month?

First, for new collection (Adventure Awaits in SCF and CF in all colours), we identify all the content we need and all the actions we need to take, to fully promote them. Then, we do the same for the upcoming collections and the older collections.

So first, we list all the actions we want to take to promote AA, then we list what we can do already, what we still need in order to do (content), and plan out a timeline.

For example:

On Shopify:

  1. Promote on homepage
  2. Great product description and images
  3. Collection page
  4. Landing page the introduces the collection
  5. Blog
  6. Upsell / promo

On Etsy:

  1. Promote on store front with main image
  2. Improve product description (link to each other)
  3. Optimize images to fit Etsy’s new format
  4. Add videos
  5. Update any email/announcement/signature/store updates that we can include to promote the collection

On Amazon:

  1. Amazon A+ content
  2. Listing title, bullets, description, backend search terms (done)
  3. Amazon-friendly listing images
  4. listing video
  5. Ad video
  6. Add to Amazon storefront

Sales & Marketing:

  1. Send out an launch email (first update the mailing list)
  2. Create ads (done?)
  3. Broadcast new collection to influencers? Interested influencers can apply
  4. Schedule content push to social media

Measure of Success:

  1. Keep track of traffic, conversion rate, AOV, sales
  2. Use as a guideline for next collection!

Let’s put together a prioritized plan.

I’m thinking we can get it launched in 3 weeks, with milestones each week.

Grateful

I’m grateful that Bunny is feeling a bit better!

I’m grateful that Mom is healthy.

I’m grateful that I have amazing friends who want to help me in my business. Ty, Cyn, Anna, Nicole.

I’m grateful that Bunny and I had a romantic stroll along the Arbutus Greenway. He gave me an unexpected kiss under an apricot tree, and a boost up his shoulders to pick an apricot! We shared it and it was so sweet!

I’m a little bummed out today because Etsy prevented us from accessing my Knot Theory account. I hope to figure it out asap.

I’m also a little bummed about not being as productive. I have so much that I want to do, but so many distractions (from Cyndi and Nicole mainly). I need to manage my time better.

Jonas broke up with Nicole. It was so surprising! She loves him so much so it was really hard to see this happen to her. I want to cry. I hope she finds love.

We all want to find love. May we all find love! The true love. The amazing love. The laughing all the time love.
