Ideas:
- Metal boxes for engraved
- Paper packaging for NG
- Amazon? probably still need the cellophane, so the same trifold?
- Sell the box separately? This way ring exchanges will be less of an issue – only need to ship the ring (and won’t need to check if the ring is a replacement and needs a box or not). Can sell it for $15, but if it’s bought as an add-on, it’ll be $7.
- This will mean that in a mailer, we’ll have a square folded card, a ring box, and a flyer that includes a ring sizer
- Unless the square folded card is a flyer
- Nah it is classier if it was simple
- A flyer can be more easily updated
- And we can add other things like promotion
- Oh we need a ring sizer still!
- The brochure is such a great idea. It has ring sizer, it can be shipped to Amazon, it has a lot of space to introduce our brand
- We can have the square folded card contain a bi-fold brochure
- And the bi-fold contains ring info and ring sizer
- It’s a bit of a hassle to pack on the Vancouver side
- unless China packs it
- In which case, we basically switched out the cellophane bag for a heavier paper jacket…
- Unless we get a better deal by sourcing our own paper card supplier
- So far the jacket is $0.07, and the shipping is $0.025
- If the bi-fold is $0.065 then the total is the same price as our current tri-fold from Udoo
- The advantage is classier
Bigger ring box:
Pros:
1. Feels like it’s worth more
Cons:
1. Customer might not want as many boxes because they can fit multiple rings in the box
Smaller ring box:
Pros
1. More streamlined-feeling; less bulky feeling
Cons:
1. Might be harder to open for big hands
