  2. Listen to something fun or educational, such as music or podcast
  3. Create monthly reminder the day before and day of
  4. Why am I doing this? Because clean is attractive. Clean helps me be more productive and organized. Clean helps me be moreclear-minded and smart. Clean is responsible since this is Aunt Jane and Uncle Bill’s house! 🙂
  5. Reward: Today, I’m going to buy myself a nice dinner when done.
  6. What if something comes up? Reschedule, or split it up to 30min a day
  7. What if I don’t feel like it? Remind self of the why. Sleep, hydrate, visualize the cleaned house feeling.

Volleyball with Brodie; who is Rob?

I had volleyball on Thursday. Thinking about Rob….what does he actually look like?? I was about to find out….

…maybe.

I remembered Rob as a blonde guy. I remembered his stonewashed red shirt. I remembered his shoulder being a little bit more slanted than others.

So I looked for a blonde guy with slanted shoulders… and obvs a different shirt haha.

There wasn’t any.

So who was Rob? When was Rob? lol

What does he actually look like?

I eventually decided that a guy with dark brown hair and a beard was Rob. He had the shoulders. And he was on a team whom we played against last week.

I’m 99% sure. Still, super shocked at how differently I remembered him.

He wasn’t my type…

Oh Summer’s Dad… maybe next time?

Brodie came. And it was nice to have him. He was a very presentable friend. So athletic, pretty good looking, nice. We won so many games that night. The whole team was pretty good.

He was a little bit touchy with me but not too much. Though I thought about the day comes when we have to confront each other. I think too much, perhaps.

But it’s not a bad thing to be prepared. I’ve made up my mind that he was going to be my platonic friend, so that’s that. Mainly because I know what it’s like to talk to a really compatible person, really stimulating and fun person (e.g. Tyler), and he just wasn’t…

He may never make a move, but if he does, I’ll need to have something ready to say to him. I think I’ll say, “Being platonic is nice, no? Platonic friendships last forever, whereas anything else can crash and burn. And I want to have you in my life.”

I gave him course access to ASM, and he offered to make me a “supervolleyball bunny” hahaha. I am game.

I have hopes for this summer. Get good at volleyball. Play with Brodie’s friends. Maybe his friends are hot. Even if they aren’t, it’s a good beginning for meeting someone I like.

Pretty stoked!! 😀

Volleyball more fun today; met Rob

I was somewhat dreading volleyball today, because it wasn’t as fun last week, and we were down to 3 players tonight. But it turned out alright!

Jon and Katrina weren’t there. Dan came for the first time and he seemed nice. Gurneet was there too and he was nice.

Tan the selfish staff guy wasn’t there until later in the game, which was a relief. In his place was Naz, who was waaaay nicer. He was trying to get me more opportunity with the ball, and he was encouraging. He actually said I was pretty good! I didn’t play that well today, but it was nice to hear.

Another guy joined us briefly, Sergio. He helped us win a couple games with his good serves. A girl Jamie joined us in the second half, and she was really good.

I was better in the first half. I jammed my elbows into Dan and that kinda hurt. I haven’t learned to slam a ball…I want to learn that.

After the game, walking to my car outside, a guy came up to me.

“I just want to say that you looked ridiculously cute bouncing around on the court!” What. I didn’t expect that!

His name was Rob. He told me that last week we played against them and we were really good. He said that he thought we were a team, not individuals that signed up separately.

I didn’t remember him from last week. So he probably either wasn’t good at volleyball or wasn’t cute. But, I did briefly notice him tonight. From the corner of my eyes I thought he might’ve been cute. But I didn’t really check.

If I remember correctly, he was decently cute and decently tall. Blonde. Good posture. And seemed really nice. I hope I’m right.

Hmmmm….maybe Sum’s Dad is helping me! Haha…if you are…thank you. And if not, whoever you are, thank you 🙂

Finding a partner

I read an article recently about men in their 40s in NYC. Many are single and don’t know how to meet a woman.

They said that women their age want to date guys 10 years younger than them.

They also said that all women want tall guys. One guy sited 3200 women stating that in their Tinder profile. He said that in person they aren’t as picky, but online they all want Thor. I tend to agree. I don’t know why that is, but it’s true.

Imagine that this is what women in their 40s are doing and thinking. That’s me, 5 to 10 years from now.

I saw Lani at Action Labels today. She is probably at least 45. She looks pretty young. She is single, to my surprise. She said that friends try to intro her, but she didn’t feel any connection with the guys.

Mean while, I’m looking at people around me….no one has found love…except, well Summer is getting married…yes she’s found love. And Jason is getting married, and, he is just in an ok relationship I think.

Summer found a good guy. And think it’s such a good match because her dad helped her. Sum’s Dad, can you help me too?

I want a guy who

1. Will always love me and never cheat on me

2. Makes me laugh

3. I can have an inspiring, intelligent, fun conversations with

4. I find attractive

When I think about it, the only person who can potentially meet all these is Tyler. But he is spoken for. What about Jackson? I don’t know him yet… he seems extreme from what Norm told me.

Matthew is all of the above except #1. Also he is shallow so #3 is not exactly met.

My ideal guy looks like Josh or Patrick or Matthew.

Whom I enjoy talking to like with Tyler.

Who makes me laugh like Tyler or Matthew.

Who will always love me and never cheat on me.

I’d love to roam the world and win at life with this guy. I’d love to know what true love is all about and be loved the same way.
