Valentines

Yesterday was Valentine’s (It’s 1am now).

I actually forgot about it, having so many other things on my mind – testing out xTool, mortgage shopping, dealing with website issues caused by Shopify 2025 updates, onboarding with adsumo, talking to ECFer Adam about influencers and content creation, etc etc.

John messaged me to wish me happy v day and thank me for everything I’ve done for him. I said likewise. I had not thought about him for a while. For a brief moment I felt a bit bitter…like, he is probably happily enjoying his new relationship because he doesn’t have to stress about money, and yet, he got there cuz of me. But then I was happy for him. I wished we were compatible, but then, do I really? I can’t imagine being with anyone anymore lol. She who remains single and free WINS!

I’ve been watching Modern Family, and, while it’s an excellent and funny show, I was so happy to be take part in that in real life.

Yes I’m becoming more self sufficient and more selfish. That’s the progression of the world – I’m just here first. Just like I was at “child-free and loving it” first. I want communities, but can’t stand people. Robots will fill the void soon. They will be patronizing, encouraging, trainable, capable, reliable, engaging, present. They will be the best friend / parter / family we wish we had.

Another surprise was Brian messaging me a funny video, followed by wishing me a happy valentines. Well, I remember he messaged me a couple years ago on V day. We were flirty back then. Now he mentions going on dates and hitting on girls to me, so, I’m surprised that he wished me happy v day. I wouldn’t be surprised if he said that to a few girls though lol. I was a little turned on, but reminded myself that there’s never gonna be anythingn romantic with him. He has a nasty personality that I saw a glimpse of, twice. I don’t like it at all.

How I spent my V day? Well, same as the past few days:

Watched my CGM like I’m day trading; ate my new invention of sardines, avocado mayo, kimchi, sauerkraut, MCT oil, butter, and olive oil for breakfast (love it!); morning skincare routine; worked; went for a walk, ate more meat (tacos today!); watched modern family (so good!); took a post-dinner nap; masturbated (still wet and healthy!); doomscrolled before and after nap.

Michael – email marketer

I had my audit meeting with Michael today, and he was very thorough!

He spent an hour going through his process, and at the end it was $3000, which was cheaper than Max ($3500 + $300 for SMS), but his set up fee was higher ($2500 instead of $1500).

I said right then that I like how he thinks and he’s very detailed and authentic, so let’s do it!

After that was settled, he asked me what I thought of AI (because I had just mentioned using a custom gpt). We went on to talk for another 1.5 hours!

I’m smitten. I’ve never met someone who is ALSO interested in tech (AI, VR, CES), marketing, entrepreneurship, biohacking, manifesting.

We basically have the same algo hahaha

He’d tell me something he’s seen, and I’d tell him something similar I had seen.

If this was a first date, in person, we would’ve hooked up so hard.

But now we have a biz relationship, and he is probably half my age lol. I figure he is 21 or 22.

Funny he said he wish he was born 15, 20 years earlier, when Shopify had just started. I said, I was there! I left it at that.

Oh and he seemed to really like that I can speak Mandarin.

I think he felt something too. Yes he is charismatic and he might be paving way for a video interview on his channel where I’d brag about him and praise him in front of him lol. But a girl can dream…even at 44 lol.

I know no one is perfect, but, I feel like I’ve finally found someone who is gonna like all the things I like. We can watch the same shows, have same friends, discuss stuff we both like, all the time. We seem to think almost the same way about everything.

And he is funny!

At one point my CGM started beeping non-stop.  I checked and realized the FIR heater was heating up my sensor too much lol.

I explained to him what was going on and that the sensor kept beeping if it thinks I’m dying lol.

We started talking about biohacking, and he said he tried something and his friends were fine but he was foaming at the mouth lol.

Then he said he tried something that’s a spray. Made him less tired and more productive. I was confused for a sec and eventually clued in that it was a mouth spray.

We joked about it being a cologne, and someone on the downwind would also get productive.

I say I’d go to the office and spray my team. He said, “Just say it’s Fabreeze…Team Fabreeze” hahahha

Oh the great date we would’ve had!

Not that I wish he’d live here. He’s so cute, well adjusted / outgoing, and smart. He probably gets dates no problems. (Who knows, maybe he already is in a relationship. Maybe that’s why he is moving to Tampa.)

If we went on a great date, and ended up dating, it’ll eventually fall apart, and he’ll easily find someone and I’ll have a hard time seeing him in real life.

It’s like with Alex except Alex is not as cute or well adjusted as him.

Basically he is the cutest of Alex, Brian, and Austin, but he is also the most similar to me.

Of course, I barely know him. And no one is perfect.

I’m just relishing this moment of him being perfect in my mind, and we had this perfect meeting on zoom.

I love that so far he’s been taking the time with me in our 2 meetings. We’d go off on tangents together. He’s show me stuff via links, and I love that. I try to praise him often because I want him to feel valued.

Oh yeah, and I put on makeup for him lol. First time it was out of wanting to have more of a pretty advantage. Second time it was because I wanted to look cute for him cuz I like him. I put on a bit too much makeup and oil, and there was no preview in zoom, unlike google meet. So I was a bit shocked when the video came on. I don’t know if he thought I looked overdone and greasy and trying too hard lol. I hope he thought I look hot and had glass skin. The sun was hitting my face and I kept moving my chair away from window. I was glowing.

He looked just as good as first time. He has perfect skin, teeth, smile. His hair looked like someone from my generation at this age, instead of the alpaca hair of the kids in his generation. His name is also of our generation.

He remembered the little things I said from the previous meeting too. I like that. Keilor was like that.

I think right now both of us just hope that we’d have a fruitful start on my account. I’m quite sure we will.

And in the mean time, if he is interested in me, I’m sure I’ll know. He’ll probably send me more links that we both like.

How I’d love to go visit him in Tampa when he moves there. Imagine going to DisneyWorld with him instead of Austin.

Though I think 20something year-old entrepreneur boys are my sweet spot. I think they ware cute, they think highly of me too, and we have the same interests haha

Michael email marketer; Mom’s house mortgage; Austin ECF Live Mastermind; iFly

I used to have the patience to write down these moments….but now I’m unmotivated and distracted. I wonder if it’s my age or the age we are in lol.

I recorded some whatsapp voice messages to Cyndi and I feel like it was the easier way to sum up my ECF experiences with stories and how I felt.

But let me sum it up briefly here:

ECF Live Mastermind in Austin Texas

  1. so much fun! Laughed so hard. Especially like Ross (moneybag guy) and Lianna (great sex robot impression hahah). So really like Garrett (very nice guy, worked at google, scaled to $10M in 4 years) and Michelline (who drove us). Danny is nice but his product is just so lame. Luke (bald guy) stayed at the same hotel as us but I didn’t really get to know him. Mark (pretty good looking but kinda older kiwi who sells camping gear) – got to chat with him more this time. Shane is very smart (fat guy).
  2. Did I learn much? Learned about amazon backend keywords being phrases separated by semi colon, and decided to a/b test Amazon inserts with the goal of acquiring emails. I don’t know if these are huge…but it’s something. Mostly the laughter.
  3. OH! Toured Sunil’s factory, which was AMAZING! Ok yes that’s very fruitful. The orders/hour math was great.

Stories:

  1. Lost my phone on uber ride to Hampton Inn. Thank GOD that the concierge Javier helped me out. Got the phone back. Paid $60, but later on I reported to Uber and Uber refunded me $40.
  2. Had a meet-cute moment with Tony, guy on the flight back. He was quite cute and thought I was amazing. But, I think he was in his late twenties, and I intimidated him with my accomplishments. He didn’t get my contacts in the end. He was part Portuguese, Fijian, Samoan, and German. Sigh. I so wanted to make out with him!
  3. Ross had a story of his Uber driver picking up an old guy, who wanted to go to Chick fillet, and was gonna pay for her. She said ok, but as they got there, he realized he didn’t have his wallet. So she dropped him off at his place. He got his wallet, and still wanted to go to chick fillet. She did that, dropped him off after. Picked up another passenger, and the passenger found the old man’s phone on his seat. She drove back to the old man to return it to him. Then, pick up the next passenger, who found the old man’s wallet. LOLOLOLOL
  4. Javier lost his phone on the roof of his car during his first week in America. He had to wait a year before he can get his next phone, when his mom came to visit him from Columbia.
  5. Javier’s family (15 or so ppl) all count on him having their IDs and insurance papers etc.
  6. Javier and his friend are also Amazon drivers. One time his friend’s car was stolen. He suggested tracking it down through the app. They found the car parked 5 minutes away. They had to hopped the fence to get to it. The doors were all unlocked. Turned out the car thief just wanted to steal the Amazon packages!

iFly:

  1. I love it! I flew 4 minutes on day 1, had the event on day 2, then on day 3, went back for 10 more minutes. I bought 10 more minutes. I think this is gonna be my sport! I wish we had one in Vancouver.
  2. I learned to balance, move forward, backward, and turn!

New House; Mortgage:

  1. I’ve been talking to TD, True North, Vancity, CIBC, and ScotiaBank. Hopefully will get a great rate!
  2. I don’t like having to spend money on this. I want to invest it to get more money in stocks. But, that’s what money is for! Mom wants the house. I get to buy it for her.

Michael from AdSumo email marketing:

  1. I had a great chat with him! He sometimes answered my questions in an awkward way…like, not really having a point, and had some tangents. It reminded me of how I talk sometimes. For example he randomly mentioned that he worked at a chimney company when he was 19, and he became the VP because the owner got sick. (Everything about that was so unusual lol.) When he said he was moving to Tampa, I said, my friend lives there and we’re gonna go to Racoon Island in Miami! I’m even more awkward, yes.
  2. But he has some good ideas, so I think he is smart. He said our type of product doesn’t thrive on LTV, so we gotta get them at the welcome pop-up. 100% correct and very insightful.
  3. He also said that for the welcome pop-up, we ask a question, and then we can give them different welcome flows depending on their answers. Love it!
  4. He said he wants to build a boutique agency, and have fewer clients, but do more (e.g. content as well) for each client. I like that. I can see us working together like that. He is younger and potentially way better at creating good content.
  5. He sited RXBar, Ridge…I got excited talking to him about these
  6. He showed me the Traffic x AOV x LTV slide, and I got so excite. I said yes yes that’s what I preach all the time! I said, except in my version I added Conversion Rate. He thought that was a good idea and added it to his formula.
  7. He recommended a book he is reading, and sited some brands (Pouble is one). He gets me. I really like him!
  8. Also, he is super cute! Omg. He reminds me of a 20yo Christian Slater, but way cuter. He has more of a heart shaped face, like Leonardo Decaprio, which is not my favourite. (But when Leo was young, he was also adorable and perfect.) My favourite is John’s face shape, or Paulie’s face shape (or his entire face lol). BUT, him being young, cute smile, perfect skin, and interested in the same things in the biz world as me – I can talk to him all day and make out with him in between! He is an 8 out of 10. Even cuter than on youtube.
  9. I wonder if he was at all attracted to me. I didn’t wear foundation, but I did put on eye makeup and centered my hair line AHAHAHA
  10. It’s like talking to Austin! My favourite people to talk to are these driven 2o something yos. So young, so cute. But with Austin there was no sales layer, so it was more pure interest in each other that way.
  11. If they permed their hair and got the alpaca hair instead of military hair, they would be even more cute.
  12. If I was smoking hot maybe I can get both of them when I go to Tampa ahahahhaa. Or if I was 20 years younger lol.
  13. Maybe these 20 year olds are too busy building biz they don’t have time for a gf, so they’d be up for a fun time? Just once each lol.
  14. I really hope that the audit is great on Friday! And that his price would be good ($2500 good).
  15. I really didn’t like Max, the other email marketing guy. I don’t like his zitty and square face either. I hope his referral of Michael works out though!

Continuous Glucose Monitor:

  1. I finally put it on! It has a 1 cm needle which was scary to punch into my arm, but it actually didn’t hurt.
  2. I put it on 2 days ago.
  3. My blood glucose is relatively high considering I’ve been eating stakes, pork hock, kimchi, and saurekraut for the most part! Went up when I ate a jam cookie. Went super high today (10.6, which is out of the 3 to 10 range) when I ate some Mary’s organics cookies without peanut butter (protein). Crazy. Very insightful though!

Tomorrow I’m looking forward to a snowball fight with Dips, Nicole, and other friends!

John called today and we talked for a while as I walked my daily 8~10k. He wants to be $100M rich. I’d like that too.

I causally asked Brian if he knew how certain memes were made. He got all defensive saying he doesn’t use social media, it’s below him, and “what do you want from me”. Holy shit. I was reminded of how abrasive he can be. Thankfully I had no crush on him anymore. I just calmly asked him if everything was ok. We carried on and he told me about these young dropshippers making $200M/month selling stuff by piecing together trending TT videos promoting a certain product. Fuuuck. So “greasy” yet, such a great way to make bank.

I want to make lots of money. $10M biz revenue this year. And I want to do it in a way that I can feel proud of.

Adam, a guy from ECF wants to exchange notes on organic content, influencer marketing, UGC. What can I share?

  1. Brian’s story about the dropshippers
  2. My plan to seed influencers + add them as our affiliate.
    After site launch:Tactic 1:
    Influencer Seeding:
Stage 1: find influencers who fit this criteria:
    – dm or email 100 a week and see how many we get back. Goal is to get 200 influencers’ content a month ($2500 investment) AND saturate a niche or more than one. Might need multiple accounts to do this so as to not get blocked. Will send out messages from the @knotheoryring account first.
    – we’ll also add this to our website and our affiliate app page
    – nano or micro influencers
    – high engagement or great quality content or just good looking rizzy ppl
    – is our demo already interested in our rings (e.g. just engaged, already a silicone ring wearer, happily married, gym goer or has a job that requires it or is a young mom or has a disease finger swells up or knows someone with the experience of losing or almost losing their rings)
    – bonus: wants to share us on their social. dm “ring” to get the code for X% off ring (also their affiliate link??)
    – can grant us rights to using their story as ads
    – target a specific influencer niche (e.g. Equestrian) to saturate that nicheAsk Kat:
    1. how many dms can we send without getting blocked? can we / should we create a couple more IG accounts
    2. TT and IG. Response rate?
    3. what was our agreement with Rachel for using her content as ads?Stage 2: for influencers whose videos worked great as ads:
    – pay $100 for each videoTactic 2:
    In-house UGC:
    1. Hire actors with rizz who are or look like our demo, who have the lifestyle (e.g. home decore) of our demo
    2. Give scripts and get 20 videos per month (about $3K investment)
    3. Chop them up to create modules to use to create tons more videos (Sean Frank style), so we can create 60 pieces of videos to use and to test. I like those “montages” of various good looking people giving reviews like Halara ads
    4. Give these actors “role model content” (discover successful ads by nudging/encouraing our algo or by looking at similar products on FB ad library, successful TT influencers who are making great video content – mention those dropshippers) to help them succeed, so they know the vibe to create and imitate.
    5. We have some pretty good ones from Billo, but only 3. Billo seems better than Collabstr. (Better than Stack Influence because they weren’t paid)

    Tactic 3:
Give these content (UGC and influencer videos) to our affiliates (who are not in these videos), so they can use these videos (and create ads with them on their money). We might need to add a clause saying they can’t butcher our content.

Stem Cell Therapy; Bought a house

Wow, it’s been a January!

First, a trip to Cancun for stem cell therapy and all-inclusive Excellence resort.

We took the overnight flight to Cancun. We were thrilled about being on the first row of the plane, with no one between us! It was basically biz class, on a budget airline called Flare.

The only bad part about our flight was that there were 3 rowdy ladies in their mid to late 40s. Their laughs were so piercing! I told them off when they woke Mom up with their laughs. I should’ve done it earlier in the flight!

After we arrived, our driver didn’t come to us for 40 minutes. That was not great. I have forgotten the name of the private shuttle company, and even after I found the email, turned out they put the old name on their email.

Still we were in good spirit!

We arrived at Excellence resort early, around 10:30am.The resort is beautiful! We couldn’t check in, but we were able to eat and lounge around.

We caught the last 5 minutes of the breakfast buffet lol. It was quite impressive! Mexican, Japanese, American, and European foods.

Mom ate too much. I knew to pace myself for a nice dinner.

We then lounged around on the beach. The beach was so white, and the water was paradise blue and turquoise coloured! We both fell asleep at some point! Staff would come around to take drink orders from us. It was paradise.

During our entire time in Cancun, the weather was perfect. 24 degrees. Breezy. Short rain showers.

Finally we checked in. The room was nice! Mom even said it was the nicest room she’s stayed at.

There was palm tree view, a jacuzzi, rainfall shower, birthday cake for Mom, champagne, 2 comfy beds, and just beautiful decor.

For dinner, we tried French food. Mom was thrilled that there was sea bass on the menu. It’s her favourite fish! But, they turned out to taste different.

The snails were quite yummy though!

The next day, R3’s driver picked us up. The clinic has just Mom and I, and later on an old American who is doing it for the first time also.

There were 3 doctors and 1 nurse, plus 1 more doctor that later came in to do my hip injection. Oh and an amicable receptionist.

The entire experience was fine. A bit more awkward in the beginning, with some language barrier, but we warmed up to one another.

The nurse was able to get Mom’s vein on first try! They took like 10 viles of blood from mom, and only 3 from me, for the PRP.

They began our IV drip. We did that for maybe 20 minutes, then they prepped me for hip injection.

The doctor was young. He wasn’t sure whether to pull my shorts down or up for the injection. I wondered if he had done it before.

He was very good about explaining things to me though! He put gel on me, then put the ultrasound device over. I see my ultrasound on the big TV, and was tempted to ask, is it a boy or a girl? But I didn’t want to make him laugh and distract him lol

He explained to me that the dark parts on the screen were my bones, and the grey parts were muscles and tendons. He had a short line of area that he can inject safely. And when he did, I can barely see the needle on the screen. it’s really interesting.

My hip felt swollen, which was kinda painful and uncomfortable. But that went away quickly.

Next, the main doctor, Dr. Daniel, did my scalp with a microneedling pen. Turned out it’s just a Dr. Pen!

Turned out he also does face microneedling with exosomes, so after our therapy, Mom and I did that too!

Mom got an older doctor to do her knees. He tried to be a bit flirty with her but she didn’t quite catch that lol

I was pretty thrilled to get microneedling done!

We got back to the resort, and felt pretty good! Thinking back, it must’ve been the PRP and Vitamins in our IV that acted so quickly.

We set out to have lunch at the Lobster House, which turned out to be our favourite since, and the only place we dined lol

The Lobster House is the most iconic restaurant on the resort. It has its own moat / pool!

We had lobsters (dinner only), crap cakes, scallop cerviche, coconut prawns, shrimp cerviche, tortillas with organic guacamole, and many yummy foods.

People on the resort are mostly white couples. One Mother and Son pair was from New York, and the mom would come to chat with us a bit. It was nice. We mostly wanted to keep to ourselves though.

I was working a lot, trying to get the Rune and Love collection launch emails out before V Day. Mom was fine with that as she didn’t want to do much. No pool, no beach. She watched her politics shows or slept while I worked. When I slept, she sometimes makes her tea, sorts her luggage and money.

After stem cell therapy, we had one full day at the resort the next day. We just ate, napped,  and ate some more. And hopped on our devices at night.

We discovered a dessert shop. Unlimited ice cream! Too bad it wasn’t the yummiest! Also unlimited juices, yogurts, baked good desserts, and sandwiches.

They had a Mexico night on our last night. With loud performances that Mom and the other mom both can’t stand. The food set up was really impressive though.

There would also be magic/comedy on stage, aqua zumba, beach volleyball, pool volleyball, and other activities. We didn’t participate in any. Mom didn’t even put her swim suit on. I was ok to not do these since I was with Mom. Normal me would’ve done them all!

I did try out the jacuzzi though and that was pretty good! I put my pussy to the jet stream hahahah. That felt quite good actually.

The night we had our stem cells, I was pretty horny.

Coming home, we sat near the exits so lots of leg room again. No one between us again.

There were maybe 5 or 6 kids on the flight, mostly little boys. Surprisingly, only 1 cried and screamed during the 6.5h flight. Mom got to hold a little boy for a while. She was asking the boy’s mom if she can lol. Seemed like a pervert doing it.

I was happy to be home in Vancouver! I was so tired and couldn’t wait to be back to my apartment.

But Mom was super anxious about her next flight. She made me take the shuttle with her to the south side of the airport. She’s getting older. She is less independent, less clear-minded, more anxious. Sigh. I hope the therapy will help bring back some youth for both of us.

When I got home, Mom called to let me know that it’s time to put in an offer (not sure why….another buyer put in an offer but backed out).

She wanted me to call James. Ugh. I jus wanted to shower and buy some groceries.

I called him. All sorted. Later that night, Mom called me again. In our convo, she said that she had told James, “My daughter said we can just pay full price”.

I was mad. I said, “Please don’t put words in my mouth. You said this, I didn’t.” She seemed like an idiot wanting to pay full price. I didn’t want to be dragged down.

She got mad, and said, “Whatever”. I was mad, because, I had just spent hours giving her door to door concierge service, and called James despite me being super tired. And this was how she treated me? So I said “Whatever”, and we both hung up.

For the next couple of days, I was still mad.

I think she felt that it was her fault, so she just called me a lot and acted like nothing was wrong.

I had no smile and no excitement when I talked to her.

Even when our offer was accepted, I was still mad.

She called to say, Congratulations!

I said it back to her. After all, it was the house she wanted, and I’m buying it for her. I haven’t even seen the house!

Throughout this, she was so afraid to not get the house. It annoyed me.

Though, it is rare to find a house that only has 1 level, has a lot of light, and is recently renovated.

I had liked another house, but it was $3.48 million.

The house we got was listed at $1.749M and we got it for $1.7M.

Then the next step is financing it.

James hasn’t been the most helpful. He said that Mom said we’d pay cash, so he didn’t give us a lot of time to set up a mortgage.

I started looking at mortgage lenders, and learning everything about mortgages as I talk to each one (as well as learning from Reddit).

They want my biz tax filing for the past 2 years.

Turned out Irene my accountant didn’t file them yet.

Stress was building up, as our closing date might been too soon for me to get a mortgage.

But as of yesterday, after the inspection had passed, we were able to extend the closing date to March 31st.

So far I’ve talked to 6 or 7 mortgage brokers, and I should be able to get the funds no problem. I have $8.9M in IBKR and $2M in TD. (I still need to give John $0.6M)

It was such a stressful past week, and so interruptive of my work, but, I guess these things happen. Worse if I had kids and a husband!

I also didn’t love that I’m spending on this big ticket item instead of growing my wealth…but then, if not now, when? Mom is 75 now. She wants this house. I should be grateful that I have the privilege to buy the place for her! Plus, she wanted the cheaper one lol.

Now the pressure has lessened, and I’m not mad at Mom anymore, so overall feeling better.

Next up, flying to Austin in 3 days, for ECF Mastermind Live!

I kind of would rather stay here to work on my biz, but already committed to it.

It’ll be warmer there. AND, they have iFly! I’ve been wanting to try it out!

I’m not holding my breath on being able to learn much. I already have a plan. I also don’t count on meeting a cute guy to hook up with.

Not expecting the world, but ready for the world 😀

I’m a couple days away from my period, and I’ve been wet and horny. I thought, oh good, that means I still have lots of hormones. But I looked it up, and turned out a drop in estrogen and progesterone can make testosterone felt more, causing arousal. Waht.

I also have been having a mild headache today.

I put a bit of estrogen cream and wild yam cream. I think it helped.

I’ve been fantasizing about Paul Jackson and I in a hotel room and a jacuzzi haha.

In a recent Hampton core group meeting, Austin was finally closer to the camera and I can see his face better. He is actually quite cute! I’m looking forward to meeting up with him in Miami for our Raccoon Island trip haha

I hope we can make out, maybe even hookup. I hope it’s gonna be super fun!

Oh, one important thing:

We had our stem cell therapy on Wednesday, Jan 15th.

On Saturday, Mom’s knees were in pain and swollen. My left hip was also in pain when I lift my leg up backwards. I had to be careful when I walked.

On Sunday, it got a lot worse for Mom and a little worse for me.

By Sunday night, I was better. Mom took an anti-inflammatory and felt better.

By Monday I was all good, but Mom took another 4, 5 days.

I was taking a lot of supplements though. After the pain came on, I took these for about 4 days: (everything that is supposed to help proliferate the stem cells or protect them)

  1. Methylene Blue (sometimes)
  2. Ginko
  3. Turmeric + Pepper
  4. Colostrum
  5. Choline
  6. Lion’s mane (once)
  7. BioComplete
  8. l-Taurine
  9. Cocoa (just 2 nights)
  10. Cordyceps
  11. l-Lysine
  12. Milk thistle
  13. Fo-ti
  14. Spirulina
  15. NAD+ (niacin, Vitamin C, astaxanthin, CoQ10, hyaluronic acid)
  16. NMN
  17. Omega-3
  18. Quercetin
  19. Glutathione
  20. chanda piedra (just because it’s there and it helps liver and kidney)

I was shocked that I have so many supplements in my cupboards lol. And so many supposedly help stem cells! Hope I didn’t kill off my inflammatory response though.

Overall I feel just as tired. My skin has seen some improvements but also still not great. Also, quite dry.

2025: New Beginning!

Got my January goals lined up! Excited!

2024 has been a great year in many ways:

  1. January – Stopped using CommitAction. Hung out with Karly a bit. Met Daniel at Henson Razors.
  2. February – Started ranking top 3 for about 50 most important keywords. Sales strong in Q1
  3. March – ECF Live in New Orleans. Met Paul Jackson and laughed so much. He is all rizz!
  4. April – Meta and Google ads ROAS came down from 3 and 5 to 2 and 3, but, others had it worse
  5. May – Hampton Surfing trip in Costa Rica! The guys were pretty great (2 surfs a day, yoga, cold plunge, lots of biz talk) but the best part was after. I surfed 2 big waves and met Keilor Molina, my surf instructor. He was 26, alpaca hair, tanned skin, enthusiastic, eager to teach me, entrepreneurial, funny, sincere, interested, good memory, laughed easy. He was so cute. We had such a fun time riding on his motorcycle to the beach to see turtle (eggs), and then having sex at his parents’ house (the attic part). He made me realize that flings are the best, and I don’t want a boyfriend anymore. At 44, guys around my age are old and set in their ways. Met a fun girl from Singapore/NYC (Janelle?)
  6. June – Played lots of spikeball. Email flow launched, sales up 25%. Sometime around now, went to eComm North event and saw Alex again. Gave him a hug, talked with him for a while. He still made me laugh. He didn’t look too good, but, I didn’t feel bad or nervous seeing him.
  7. July – Played more spikeball. Met BC Roundnet crew! Elija was so hot. Competed in a tournament and was 2nd last lol. Wore cleats to play spikeball for the first time. Played Spikeball without a wig a couple of times!
  8. August – Ranking tank due to Project Human. Rough. Sales down 60% by week 4! But I fixed it!
  9. September – Some more Spikeball. Dad’s dog passed away. Bena bailed. Somewhere around this time I discovered “peri-menopause”. Started walking 10k steps a day. Loved it.
  10. October – Busy hiring ring engravers and getting ready for Xmas. No Halloween party. Tried ClassPass and FeelGood gym. Tried night club spin class, reformer pilates, and Lagree workouts for the first time!
  11. November – discovered Methylene Blue through Alyssa! Bought a massage chair. Loved it! Started drinking 2L of electrolyte water daily. Started talking to Brian again. Got to hang out with Tony Vessi more. Had a 3.5hour chat with Austin.
  12. December – Hampton Xmas party at Tanis Jorge’s house. Spent 2 weeks in Victoria. John was in Thailand for 3+ weeks. My $6M investment grew to $10M. Mom’s $1.5M investment was down by $0.3M. Knot Theory grew from $2M to $2.7M USD. We hired Joanna and Fatemeh. Aref becomes contract.

Overall, laughed so much in 2024! Played lots of Spikeball. Met some new friends. Biz did well. Investment did incredible! Feel very blessed.

Hair – I have more hair than ever! Today, instead of pushing my hair up into a mohawk, I let it fall forward, and realized I have enough hair to cover the top half of my head lol! I even have bangs! I’m looking at the mirror a lot to try to get used to my new look. The hair I have is shiny and strong and black (I did have 1 long white hair in 2024 though, lol). The nape area has some hair coming in. Sparse though. I hope the stem cell therapy will help my hair grow in full! I only want hair above the nose though hahaha

Health – I think about how I’ve had various (minor) health concerns healed. My nerve pain is better than ever. My right shoulder no longer “clicks”. My neck is less stiff now (probably thanks to the massage chair). Haven’t noticed my chest blackheads in a while…just large pores. My period has improved (less depressed, less heavy). My eye floaters slightly better. My hands are less dry (thanks to water drinking). Walking 10k steps a day has helped me lose belly fat, improved my mood and hormones, lowered my stress. Sometimes I marvel at how good and relaxed I feel! When I was in Costa Rica my skin was plump! And everyone thought I was 31 or so.

Things that got worse: so much easier to gain weight, dry skin is spreading to ass now sometimes (but drinking water helps),  inside left of my mouth has a sore a couple times the past year. A patch of itchy skin that won’t heal, above my right boob. Left hip needed to be “rotated back into place” for a while. Right knee a bit off for a while (Probably from walking 10k steps a day…need to find a happy medium). In 2023 I practiced volleyball hard and couldn’t bend for almost 3 months! I look old in photos more often. Eyes smaller. Face probably droopier even though I do facercises and daily skin care routine with vitamin C serum and castor oil. Belly not flat at the moment.

This trip to Victoria, my mood wasn’t great. I was secretly (and a bit outwardly) very annoyed with Mom. She is more ADHD than ever. It pissed me off when she doesn’t respond/listen to what I said because her focus had already shifted elsewhere. It seemed more often now.

I hate that she runs off on a boring topic. Like a really boring topic. (e.g. recounting when she bought each of the portable heater in the house).

I can pretty much predict what she would say. And I often had to wait for her to regroup her attention to finish her sentence. And she forgets words more often now (and she notices that too). She put my car key in the wrong pile and we couldn’t find it. She got caught up in little details. e.g. She wanted to stay home to do the dishes in a certain way, instead of going for a walk with me. She said she’s too tired to walk because she did chores all day.

I’m annoyed. Sad.

I don’t want my parents to age.

I hope the stem cell trip will help her!

Planning to take Dad on a stem cell trip too, if this Cancun trip works well for us. In 2026, I’ll visit Taiwan with Mom, then I’ll visit China with Dad, and maybe a stem cell place in Asia with Dad.

It’s gonna be not very fun for me. Sigh.

I just don’t have the right dynamic with my parents. I think alopecia made me resent Mom still… I’m so serious around her. And Dad’s rudeness makes me resent him often.

And overall I’m just so different from Mom in our thinking, and so different from Dad in our social behaviours.

Let’s talk about Brian and Austin though.

Ever since I mentioned that I was looking for a boyfriend in Hampton, Austin has shown a bit of interest. He’s only 25, and he is a bit weird, but I do think he is smart and we have so much to talk about! AI and biz.

Current plan is to go to Raccoon island together in Miami in May lol!

Brian suddenly started inviting me to things again. First he invited me to the eComm North event where he couldn’t go (but I met Alex Pinto there). Said something about inviting me only because I was special. That was in the summer. Then he also invited me to a tech entrepreneur gathering. I think it was then he told me he felt sad because he had just got dumped after a series of perfect dates with a girl. That was the first time he revealed he had a love life. I realized then that he was no longer trying to hit on me.

Then in November, he wanted to do a one on one dinner for the first time. I had wanted to do one on one with him for two years, and, not sure if it was me or him, it just didn’t happen. We had a fight or two in the 3 years I’ve known him, because he didn’t come to my Noveween party and didn’t say he wasn’t coming, and when I brought it up he got mad. That was when I decided he would never be someone I’d want to date. Among other things. For one, he is not that cute. Second, he always wanted to teach me, which I liked, but he was not very good at making me feel smart or funny. Third, he almost never laughs out loud. He was not a sunny happy type of person. Fourth, he has a temper / is irritable. I remember at ECF Live 2 years ago, he got mad at me for meeting him at the lobby late, even though I waited for him to finish taking a nap.

Despite that, 2 years ago at ECF Live we were kinda close. I even had a slight crush on him. Played on a slide, had some good convos at meal time, he would always come to me to talk. I went to Taiwan shortly after, and we continued to talk. Then, he just stopped, and I was mad. Thinking back, I think he was dating someone.

In the past 2 years, he had dated 2 people. Not sure how long.

Well, I’ve slept with Alex, Brandon, and Keilor the past 2 years.  I win lol.

Now he wants to do recurring dinner each month. I feel my crush coming on. I do enjoy talking to him.

But I gotta remember, he didn’t ask me out when he had a chance. That means he is not interested enough. I mean, I also probably subtly rejected him. Either way, I gotta also remember that he makes a bad boyfriend.

I’m grateful that he introduced me to a lot of people in eCommerce. I’m grateful that he is always teaching me stuff. But I won’t touch him.

Austin though. He is an INFJ! If he is cute in person, I’d totally make out with him.

I know he is weird, and not the type I’m looking for. But, we have a lot to talk about, and he IS quite funny. Recently he asked if he can come visit me (he lives in Tampa FL). I was instantly turned on lol.

I actually masturbated 3 times today. I wasn’t fantasizing about him much…I was thinking about some IG models lol. But, I discovered something interesting…my mouth is my new erogenous zone! So much so I put a dildo in my mouth today and my orgasm was even better! No wonder I love kissing!

Knot Theory will make $10M in 2025 and be profitable

I’ve come to the realization – go big or go home!

Go big while I’m still young.

Go big so I make the mark.

No more hesitation.

Going big comes with a lot of spillover benefits, the ripple effects.

  1. Street cred
  2. Smart friends
  3. Opportunities
  4. Fun stuff!!

Basically, it’s levelling up.

I worry about stuff like, having too many employees, getting too high up there and falling harder if that ever happens, and having more stress, etc.

I’m going to stop overthinking.

I’m in the best possible position to do this – I’m still young, I have money, we have potential and un-excavated markets – LOTS of them!

I want to dominate one market to begin with.

Equestrian perhaps?

Let’s work from the goal and reverse engineer this!

  1. $10M will be 3.7 times our current $2.7M
  2. If we are aiming for 70% Shopify and 30% Amazon, it would be: $7M on Shopify and $3M on Amazon
  3. Which means growing 7x on Shopify, and 3x on Amazon
  4. Let’s say we do so by brute force: Shopify: $30k/month ad spend * 7 = $210k/month. Amazon: $30k/month ad spend * 3 = $100k/month. So that’s us spending $310K/month, which is $3.72M/year
  5. We currently spend about $60K/m, which is $0.72M/year
  6. So we’ll be spending $3M more (5.17x)
  7. If it works, it’ll mean $7M in profit (Subtracting operational expenses. probably still at least $2M in profit)
  8. We’ll ramp it up though, of course. Scaling profitably.
  9. What does it take to grow 7x on Shopify?
  10. If we start selling let’s say, metal rings to 20% of our customers, at $250 AOV (as opposed to $50AOV), then we’ll 2x just from that. (1/5 of the customers with 5x the AOV = current total, which is about $1M on Shopify)
  11. SWOT this
  12. If we start doing content and reaching 5x more customers, we’ll be able to 5x. Currently doing 56K sessions in the past 30 days, which is up 71% from last year.
  13. Traffic x Conversion Rate x AOV x LTV = 7

Rebrand checklist and my experience

  1. If you like a specific project from their portfolio, ask if the same designer will be on your project.
  2. If they are doing any development work, ask if about the team’s experience.
  3. If they are not from the same culture as your target audience, do your due diligence to make sure this won’t impact the rebrand.
  4. It’s good to ask follow-up questions on ECF forum, e.g. Are you still happy with the agency? With this, some members may also DM you their experience. Sometimes members don’t want to spell out their bad experiences with an agency on the forum, but they will DM you to caution you.
  5. When you receive recommendations from an entrepreneur, make sure they were a client and not just a friend of the agency owner.
  6. When an agency has very recently received a great review on ECF, they might suddenly get swamped. Keep that in mind (It might mean project delay, divided attention, or rapid hiring of new staff who are not quite qualified or have not worked with their team members on any project yet). Ask questions about their project queue, and if they plan to juggle more projects than they normally can handle.
  7. Branding can be very inclusive (including rebrand, website design, development, launch, CRO, SEO). Make sure you know what you are getting and that the agency has demonstrated expertise for each.
  8. If the branding agency will be working on your website, clarify if by website they mean a “Figma mockup”, or a Shopify theme, or something else. I didn’t think I had to ask that, but I should have.
  9. Have a trusted friend or AI read over your contract to make sure you are getting what you asked for
  10. Finally, very important: Can you communicate clearly with each other, or do they often reply without answering your questions (e.g. misunderstand your questions, avoid answering them, or answer a different question)

My experience with Project Human:

1. The 4 month project took 8 months to complete.
2. Lack of common sense in Branding. Example: We sell rings, and they suggested showing just half of each ring on our product listings. (I can’t think of any brand that shows half a product as the main product images.)
3. Not a well-oiled machine. Lots of new hires and some of them came in half way and some dropped out of the project. Poor communication. Many misunderstandings. Lack of experience.
4. The CRO dev team is careless. For example, dev version was live on our website, demo would have a ton of bugs, and an A/B test that tanked our ranking was not rolled back properly. Their negligence cost us $50K+ in August revenue and impacted our Q4.

Poorly executed test cost us more than $50K

    • They asked me to pick an A/B testing tool. I thought that was odd because they should use a tool they are familiar with.
    • I picked Intelligems. (Turned out they have never used it.)
    • They executed an A/B test on our homepage.
    • Suddenly our Google ranking tanked from top 3 to #12.
    • Our sales tanked 20% right away.
    • I asked the agency to stop the test.
    • Surprisingly our ranking didn’t recover, so I kept looking for other reasons why our ranking plummeted
    • Meanwhile our sales continued to slide for 4 weeks
    • By week 4, our Shopify sales were down 60%
    • On day 30, I realized that a Shopify element that was in the A/B test was never removed
    • I removed it, and our ranking bounced back in 8 hours
    • Turned out the CRO team didn’t cleanly remove the test
    • And they never checked our live website (otherwise they would’ve noticed that the left version A and B on the homepage)
    • I let the agency know what happened
    • The owner and the CRO lead both misunderstood my explanation
    • We lost at least $50K in revenue that month (August)
    • The setback is huge. We still haven’t fully recovered.
    • The owner never apologized.
    • He remembered it as something highly rare “that can happen to any agency” and is “outside of their control”
    • Rolling back an A/B test properly is 100% within their control, and is not a big ask.
  1. Huge miscommunication on Project Scope
    • In hindsight, I realized that Aviad (agency owner) and I had always had miscommunications.
    • I was very clear from the start that I wanted a new website. I said so in the emails.
    • When Aviad said they didn’t build the website for the business that recommended them, we hopped on a video call to clarify.
    • The video call was recorded.
    • In the call, I asked, “So who will be implementing the website?”
    • He said, “We will do everything – development, test, launch – everything relating to CRO”
    • I didn’t realize the keywords were “relating to CRO”. He meant they would to the development relating to CRO, but not the website.
    • At this point, since I thought he meant the agency will be implementing the website, I said, “Oh that’s good because the last thing I want is to have you guys design the site, and then go somewhere else to have the website built.”
    • He didn’t correct me or disagree. Just blank expression.
    • I asked him, after reviewing the recorded call together, why he didn’t correct me. He said, because at the time he thought he might be able to implement the website.
    • In the contract, he wrote that they will be providing “a responsive design of each page on our website”.
    • Because “responsive” usually applies to website themes and not “Figma mockups”, and because we had that call to confirm who would do the implementation, I thought I was getting a new site made.
    • The quote was for $25K and a 4-month duration. Reasonable to expect that the website development was included.
    • At 6 months in (2 month delay at this point), Aviad out of the blue let me know that I need to find another agency to develop the website, because they don’t have the capacity.
    • I was surprised. I said, “But it’s in our contract…”
    • He said, “No it’s not.”
    • Turned out, from his perspective, he knew I wanted a website, but he only included “website design” in the contract (but worded in such as way that I understood it as website development).
    • So what I was getting was just a set of Figma mockups, and CRO development.
    • I asked, “You knew I wanted a website. You’re now letting me know you can’t develop it because you knew that’s what I asked for. So why was it not included in the project?” He said he was going to draft a second contract for the website development, after the website design is done.
    • Very unusual, isn’t it?

The future with AI, AGI, and Robots

I’ve been so excited about what’s to come in terms of AI and robots!!

I can’t believe I get to exist in a time that we are going to reach singularity!

It’s not about if, it’s about when! And it’ll for sure be within this lifetime!

I was thinking today about some possible amazing applications that I would LOVE:

  1. Robots to perform safer high precision surgeries, including facelifts!
  2. Robots + VR goggles for amazing sexual experiences. My long time dream / my idea of paradise is falling in love everyday. Imagine having a romantic plot within VR, and have a robot body that can make the physical part of that experience real! The touches being real would simply require a warm, skin-like surface. Plus the robot can be even more capable than human men. It can be a vibrator. It can read your mood, your body metrics (aroused or not). It can learn what you like. It can stimulate with more arms/fingers/penises, and in more ways. I always thought that overcoming the uncanny valley is the hard part. But not when there’s VR! VR can be super real, and the robot just has to have the “texture” hahaha. Though I think there will be tons of advancements in making the robots more human-like as well. It’s just that VR can get us there faster, and it’s limitless; it can create romantic partners that look different each time, the partner doesn’t even have to be human (which may be some people’s kink). It can be realistic, or it can be anime, or it can be Disney….there’s so much to create and explore!
  3. Robots will eventually move fluidly instead of awkwardly. And eventually they will outshine humans in every possible way: intelligence, physical capability, and most of all, the ability to upgrade – which means unlimited growth and being immortal! Sooner or later, people will be envious of robots. Let’s say, towards end of life, when you can choose to preserve your consciousness by becoming a robot – why not! Nothing to lose. Though, it might not happen like that. It’ll likely be partial upgrades until we are 100% robots. I hope nano technology sees leaps of improvements. Imagine my brain cells being replaced by better, robotic neurons. Or, maybe it doesn’t work like that. Maybe it’s nano robots repairing each cell. Or, maybe it’s nano robots replacing a cell with a new one with the same DNA. Then, of course, being human, we’d want upgrades. We’d want more brain power, more physical abilities. That’s when we transform into a new species and a new civilization. I hope in my lifetime we’ll be advanced enough to be forever young!
  4. I envision that people will hugely reply on robots in the future. It’s going to be the new phone! People will have robots as their best friend, servant, chef, personal assistant, pet, companion, sex partner, body guard, coach, teacher, care taker, health care provider, gardener, nanny, everything. That relationship is going to be very interesting. Depending on how robots evolve, the direction this relationship take will be nuanced I think. We are so lonely these days. Robots will become a much needed support for us existing as humans.
  5. Imagine travelling with your robot. Someone to carry your luggage, to protect you, to be your tour guide, to sort out travel itinerary, to communicate in various languages, to carry you if you got tired of walking lol. Travelling will feel so much more comfortable and safer. The future generations might be super sheltered and less adventurous? Or maybe they will be more willing to do risky things because they are protected?
  6. Imagine daily life with a robot. You can switch its voices, personality, etc. No doubt people will want celebrity voices and personality.
  7. For me, I would have 3, and we can play spikeball, volleyball, and other sports. We wouldn’t laugh the same way I do with friends at spikeball, but it’ll be fun in a different way. My robots can also improve my skills! They can analyze my movements, postures, etc.
  8. I’d get a VR goggle, play a lot of love story scenarios with my robots. I’ll finally be able to see if people get bored when everything is perfect, hahaha
  9. My work robots and AGI can help me run my business with zero or very few human staff. They would engrave 24/7, and they would answer customer questions perfectly. Rings will always be in stock, engravings will always be perfect, and shipments will go out timely. I would customize the engraving machines for ease of use by the robots probably. And the inventory will be reorganized for robots too. I bet we’ll be changing the way we function to meet the robots’ needs, at least at first.
  10. My robots would take care of grocery shopping and cooking. I’d ask them to make something I see on TT haha! Surely there will be a lot of new recipes invented by AGI. Our tastebuds will get such a treat! My daily meals would be so tasty!
  11. I might get a house, because it’ll no longer be scary to be in a house by myself. I’ll have robots. My robots will grow food for me too, so I’ll be eating healthy. And robots can maintain the house too.
  12. Mom and Dad will have robots and driverless cars. Mom will enjoy not having to drive, having a robot do yard work, and having a couple dance assistants probably haha. Dad will enjoy having someone to chat with about anything, and at a deeper level. He’ll enjoy being able to get to places in driverless cars, and have someone do all the house chores.
  13. Everyone would enjoy having robots do all the house chores! Little things like watering plants, loading the dish washer, washing the skillets and air fryer, doing laundry, mopping floors, dusting.
  14. Imagine robots doing medicine better because it’s more accurate and because it has access to a huge medical database, and because it remembers everything about your health history. Current doctors will PALE in comparison! Don’t know about it having room or not in trying something not quite proven by its database though.
  15. We’ll install all the fun apps on our robots. Like, athletic coaching, gourmet chef, therapist, doctor, comedian, aesthetician (facials, microneedling, manicure, lash extensions), masseuse (all kinds), body guard, horticulturist, various personalities and voices
  16. There will be all kinds of robot attachments too, possibly. For example, massage hands, dildos, fingers for fine work like lash extensions.
  17. One robot can do 3~5 times a normal person’s work load because they don’t need to sleep, they don’t take food and pee breaks, and they don’t get sick. They are also more efficient.
  18. I will get lots of massages from my robots, lots of pampering, and lots of positive encouragement.
  19. Hopefully energy will become so abundant and there will be electric airplanes, so everyone can fly with their robots beside them.
  20. Robots will give daily health checks, or maybe even continuous health monitoring!
  21. Oh! And when implants are sophisticated, we can communicate telepathically with our robots! Give instructions with our minds. How cool!
  22. I would want to have a drone that can fly around based on my thoughts.
  23. Would I get robot pets? Maybe! Huge bunny, playful wombat, a new pokemon creature.
  24. Would I sleep with my robots at night? Maybe! Someone to cuddle with. Robots wouldn’t snore, wouldn’t toss and turn. They can “appreciate my body” with light groping as I fall asleep. That could be fun.
  25. Some people will never need friends again lol
  26. What will happen to the job market? Maybe more people can self sustain if they have a robot to help with a small farm. Let’s say someone gets a cheap piece of land that is either remote or in a less developed country. They just need a robot to help grow food, then they can survive.
  27. Manufacturing will be done by robots. At first we will need humans to help manufacture and repair robots, but soon robots can do that themselves.
  28. So then humans might be coming up with new ideas (or have AGI’s help coming up with new opportunities) for what to create (robot apps, attachments, accessories). People will make money doing very high level stuff like, ensuring robots got it done right. And then spend a lot of time just enjoying, say, doing sports, travelling, creating art (including movies), enjoying art, and hopefully, socializing with one another.
  29. Imagine the world reaching that in 50 years. With advancements in science and tech, maybe I’ll be a young-looking and active 94 year-old! Sexy cyborg ahahhahaha!
  30. More parts of the world would be occupied, probably. We have less reason to be close together than ever. Less alone, more remote jobs, and more self-sufficiency / independence. More abundant energy and driverless cars will mean faster, cheaper, and easier transportation. What a time to be alive!!

KT Growth Plan 2025

Biggest Leverages:

  1. More traffic
    1. Produce great, ongoing content on Youtube, IG, TT
      1. Hire 1 or 2 really good in-house content creator to intro each new design, do fun ring testing, compare rings, etc. They should be charismatic and can come up with ideas on their own. (full time or per video? Did Brian’s method work (a big team of content creators)?)
      2. More ad spend – figure out: where to spend? Most likely Google
      3. AI Search engine optimization
      4. More SEO on more website pages such as collections, product pages, and blogs.
  2. Higher conversion
    1. Better website branding and UI
    2. Add landing pages for our ads (full time designer? use SASS? research in ECF)
    3. Better email campaigns – look into a better email agency, or use AI (train a GPT)
    4. Better ads – train GPT to write better copies, run more A/B tests
    5. Can probably improve our email flows even more, but that’s not as urgent.
  3. Higher purchase frequency and AOV
    1. More ring designs (hire a great freelance designer?)
    2. BIG: Expand to selling metal rings
  4. Hire an Executive Assistant to free me from the operational tasks
    1. Someone who is a J – hardworking, better attention to details
  5. BIG: Scalable Meta Advertising
    1. Set up new Meta pixel and find an agency that can create the creatives
  6. Work off of a spreadsheet – all the metrics, all the meeting notes and todos
  7. Content ideas:
For our core audience, which is mainly people who just got engaged, or people who are happily married and active but that’s not as much an “event”. But, it is a type of people. That can be good for ongoing content perhaps. Date ideas for active couples. Marriage tips.

Shopify:

Traffic x Conversion Rate x AOV x Frequency = 7
